After almost a month back home I can finally share with you the first part of my La Reunion Photo Adventure. In the pictures you can see our first few days at the island – the ‘capitol city’, St. Denis and our tour along the west coast – Saint-Gilles, L’Ermitage-Les-Bains and Saint Leu. On La Reunion I have found the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. Sadly, almost nobody uses them to have fun and surf or swim. The main cause are sharks – La Reunion is one of the most dangerous places regarding shark attacks. The thread is so serious that people are just scared to swim outside clearly marked places with a life guard and nets or natural lagoon. Because of this, La Reunion is not very popular touristic destination outside France.
