This year our annual hiking day was organized late September in St. Galen canton. Early in the morning we took the train and the bus to reach our destination which was St. Johann. We hiked a little and had a lunch BBQ in a beautiful valley close to the pond. Second part of the hike, however, was slightly more challenging but finally we reached our end point at Restaurant Gamplüt. The area of St. Johann was excellent for landscape photography, especially the peak of Wildhuser Schafberg. Surly I’ll come back there in the future to discover more of the St. Galen Alps beauty.
